many romances start off the same way: boy meets girl - girl likes boy - both live happily ever after. Usually, there may be some tension, but no - NEVER - an instance where two people can admit they truly didn't WANT each other. So is the story of Willie Jefferson and Mable Denise Jackson.

The couple's lives started coming together in the summer of 1995. Willie Jefferson, a minister from Gulfport, Miss. and a student at Alcorn State University in Lorman, was in Fremont, Calif., serving as a youth pastor at Mission Way Baptist Church. Mable Jackson, however, was 'Aiming High' in an Air Force program at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss.

Mable sat in the Greyhound bus station in Gulfport, Miss. at the end of her ROTC program that summer ... looked around at her surroundings, and told the Lord - I wouldn't mind living here on the Coast ... while in Californication, Willie and Larry Perez, an anointed brother in Christ, were talking about life when Larry prophesied to Willie that the Lord had someone who would be the desire of his heart. And six months later, at a Baptist Student Union Retreat in Prentiss, Miss., the future spouses met in the initial 'arrangement' of the marriage.

Though 6 years passed - pain, torment, trials and tribulations separated them for years on end, God made a promise - and fulfilled it. Despite the hurt - the distance - love truly conquered all ...

6 years from the start of their courtship, officially - May 4th - the couple finally wed ... fulfilling God's arranged marriage. <--- Click 'marriage' to continue.
